81 Recommendations For the Market's Record Highs

The closing bell has rung, making it official: The Dow and S&P 500 have broken through their intra-day highs of 16,695.47 and 1898.65 respectively. To put things in perspective, just five years ago the Dow was struggling to break through 8,000 in the wake of the financial crisis. It is truly amazing how far the stock market has come since those uncertain times.

So it appears that April’s showers have given way to May’s flowers. Strengthening economic data, an improving earnings environment and an accomodative Fed have helped sow the seeds of a better spring for investors. Of course, every healthy garden requires regular pruning and weeding. To ensure that your own portfolio is kept free of any "weeds," it pays to stay on top of the latest profit opportunities.

And today’s blog post should be a great place to start. After taking a close look at the latest data on institutional buying pressure and each company’s fundamental health, I decided to revise my Portfolio Grader recommendations for 81 big blue chips. Chances are that you have at least one of these stocks in your portfolio, so you may want to give this list a skim and act accordingly.
