Preview for this Week on Wall Street

The stock market’s rally has gone on for over three months now, but traders still don’t seem to be interested in taking profits. That may change this week. Here’s a rundown of what’s on tap for this week on Wall Street.

On Monday, Goldman Sachs (GS) will report its results. Also, the homebuilder index comes out and the Treasury Department reports on capital flows for April. President Obama will speak on health-care reform in an address to the AMA.

On Tuesday, Best Buy (BBY) and Adobe (ADBE) report results. We’ll also get key reports on wholesale inflation, industrial production and housing starts. I expect to see more evidence of inflation.

On Wednesday, Morgan Stanley (MS) and FedEx (FDX) will report earnings. This is also the day that banks can start repaying their TARP money. The biggest news may be the CPI report. Wall Street forecasts that consumer prices rose 0.3% last month.

On Thursday, Research In Motion (RIMM) is due to post results. Also, the Philly Fed Index will be released.

Finally on Friday, CarMax (KMX) reports results.
