Preview for this Week on Wall Street

Get ready for another big week for earnings.

On Monday, Bank of America (BAC), Eli Lilly (LLY) and IBM (IBM) all report earnings.

Also on Monday, leading economic indicators are released and Ben Bernanke will address a conference and economic literacy.

Tuesday will be a big day for central bank meetings. We’ll hear results of interest rate decisions in Sweden, Canada and India. More than one of those countries will probably cut rates.

We’re also going to get earnings reports from Coca-Cola (KO) , DuPont (DD), Merck (MRK), Schering-Plough (SGP), Boston Scientific (BSX), Comerica (CMA), U.S. Bancorp (USB) and Bank of New York Mellon (BK).

On Wednesday, Wells Fargo (WFC), Morgan Stanley (MS), Apple (AAPL), McDonald’s (MCD), Boeing (BA), AT&T (T) and Altria (MO) post results. Here’s what I wrote last week about Wells Fargo.

On Thursday, we’ll get a report on existing home sales. Also, American Express (AXP), Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB), SunTrust Banks (STI), Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon.com (AMZN) and United Parcel Service (UPS) report.

On Friday, we’ll get a report on durable-goods orders for March. This could be good news. Also, Tim Geithner will host G-7 finance ministers and the government will issue its methodology on the stress test for the major banks.
